I got surprising amount of emails form visitors of my site asking is I will be going to CES-2008. Nope, I am not. My days and interests with CES are over, I closed down that show and I hope the rest of the industry would follow me on it. In fact I ha...
If I were to try to find a pair of ML2's that are older production, what years of production does this include?
All ML2.1 are the new version of ML2 and they are not good as ML2. However, I have seen the original ML2 mar...

Gregm,
I do not think that to be reasonable is a tall order, in fact I would insist that I nothing but reasonable.
Still, I feel that it is a huge distraction for people and a disappointment for me that others see juts an amplifier with a bi...

An interesting as a very a smart move for Lamm: to kill the ML2.1 and to introduce the new Lamm 2.2. I wonder that fact...

Sorry, Romy, I'm just bagging on you a little for caring/staying conected to Lamm...I hope you understand that I absolutely agree with your ideas about the "right" direction to go for the next viable step in audio *for those with the stones*. &n...

I think I need to make some commentary in here as BS will be swallowed as usually and somebody shall take stand on it. Before is a small prelude. Sometimes back in his comments about RMAF 2010 Show Report the Federated Mike wrote in his blog:

Well, Jessie, I think you're exercising a wishful thinking but you have, I think, a wrong subject for your thinking. Neither Lamm nor any other high-end manufacture care about result as a concept but rather a result as product. A product b...
No-one is criticising the ML3 (amplification) product. We are discussing the concept and the applicability of such products, i.e. the ultimate limitation of an amplifier called upon to work from DC to daylight and, accordingly, d...

This subject of comparing the quality of ML2 and ML3 sound is very interesting and I do not think that it will be ever observed in public. I hoverer do have interest to learns about comparative capacity between properly sounding ML2.0 and ML3. The M...

Romy, for one thing, you are still talking "best possible sound" in a very literal way while most other people are merely working out one or another acknowledged compromise, or they are hoping to make their system do an even more spectacular renditio...

I actually read the review carefully.
My initials sentiments were very accurate. Knowing the Vladimir’s reaction to those thighs I might presume that he also feels that this level of “intelligent writing about audio” is no more intellectu...
I think that bit of marketing hype must derive from Lamm's ML2 (& 2.1?) "Operating Manual", which says: [the ML2] "Maximum Output Voltage" "with continuous sine waves, at 1kHz @ rated line voltage" [is] "(blah, blah, blah), ...
He did note that the ML2.2 uses a different OPT, and also that it uses "less feedback" than the ML2.1 … I wonder what this means, "less feedback"? Why would Lamm mess with that very effective scheme? Does he just shunt some vo...

Well, let agree that it is very good for Lamm and for everyone that Lamm has killed his ML2.1. I do not know what was the true reasons – that fact that he is not deaf (and he is not) and that he hated that sound or that fact that the amp has begun de...

Well, the Q5s were everywhere when I was trying to find big amps, and they really have no chance to move me. Even to do what they might do would take maybe 500W SS, yet Harley thinks he hears them at their best with the ML2.2. Then again, I suppose...
